Swirls of light pink with shimmery bits of dark pink sweep across the top of a handmade polymer clay heart cabochon.
The colors of this remind me of making strawberry jelly with my mother when I was little. As the fruit and sugar start to boil, it creates a foam on top that swirls when you stir it. 🙂
You will receive the exact item shown in the photos.
There is no varnish on this piece. Polymer clay is waterproof and needs no sealant to protect it unless it has been treated with powders or other surface coloring techniques. The glossy finish on this piece has been achieved by sanding and buffing the surface of the clay.
This cabochon is suitable for making jewelry and other craft purposes. The back has been left untreated so that this cabochon may be used for polymer clay applications. If using this cabochon for something other than clay, you can paint the back of it with acrylic paint. For best results, sand the back of the cabochon with 320 or 400 grit sandpaper before painting, and allow paint to cure for several days before using. You can only use water based acrylic paints on polymer clay items. Other paints may damage the surface.
Alcohol, acetone and other chemicals should be kept away from all polymer clay items as these can damage the surface.
